The London Eye

What a summer we are having here in London. The sunshines every now and then, but on the whole we have had dull skies and rain. It’s very difficult to go out and get any decent pictures. Well unless you avoid getting any of the sky in the frame. Most of the pictures come out with blown out skies. So, I thought I would play around with this picture of the London Eye. I took it from the Golden Jubilee Bridge, which I think used to be the old Hungerford Bridge. However, the grey skies seem to ruin the colour image. As of late I have been shooting in RAW, so decided I would convert the image to Black and White. I must admit, it’s a vast improvement on the colour original.
